This pumpkin pie smoothie has an ultra creamy texture (created by a secret I share below) and the perfect pumpkin flavor which is accentuated with warm spices. Then it’s topped with whipped cream and a pinch of cinnamon for a delicious & nutritious Fall breakfast.

Ingredients in this pumpkin pie smoothie
Here’s what you need to make this smoothie:
- frozen pumpkin cubes, the key to adding real pumpkin to the smoothie without a mealy texture is freezing the pumpkin puree in silicon ice cube molds before blending. This allows the pumpkin to add a cool, creamy texture to the smoothie.
- frozen banana, helps create a creamy, sweet smoothie. But don’t worry, the pumpkin and spice flavor shines through and the banana mainly works to enhance the texture of the smoothie.
- almond butter, adds warm, nutty goodness that helps balance the flavors.
- almond milk, create a cool, creamy smoothie. I used a sugar-free kind and add the sweetness myself!
- Whole Earth Sweetener Stevia and Monk Fruit blend, creates the perfect, sweet smoothie without any added sugar!
- vanilla extract + maple extract, the vanilla adds that beautiful rich, natural sweetness that helps make the other flavors shine. The maple extra adds a buttery, maple, rich flavor that screams Fall!
- pumpkin pie spice, helps accentuate the pumpkin flavor and add a warm spice note which brings this smoothie into the realm of Fall.
