A cozy, delicious dish for Fall!
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium high heat in a large pot or dutch oven. Add in diced onions and peppers and sauté for 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently. Lower the heat to medium and add in garlic and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until fragrant.
Push veggies to the side of the pan. Add in ground sirloin and break up the meat; cooking until slightly browned on the inside and just abut cooked through. Next add in the spices and cook until the spices are fragrant and coat the meat, about 20 seconds.
Finally, add in crushed tomatoes chipotle mix, tomato sauce, beef broth, beer, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and beans. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 45 minutes to an hour or until chili thickens and flavors come together. Taste and adjust seasonings as necessary.
