A delicious blend of tart and sweet dark cherries, ripe bananas, automatic and flavorful chai spices, and nutty almond butter. It's the perfect, flavorful, protein-packed drink to start your day!

Ingredients
2frozen bananas
1cupfrozen dark cherries
2tablespoonsalmond butter
1 1/4cupoat milk or milk or choicemore depending on desired thickness
1teaspoonchai spicesee notes
1teaspoonhoney
Cherriesstar anise pod, and oats for topping
Instructions
Add all of the ingredients to a high powered blender and blend until smooth. If smoothie seems too thick add more milk, a little at a time, until you reach your desired thickness (I prefer thicker smoothies).
Pour into a glass and top with cherries, oats, and star anise pod (for a pretty affect).
Sip and enjoy!
Recipe Notes
For the chai spices, you can by a chai spice blend or create your own. To create your own, simply combine 1 tablespoon cinnamon, 2 teaspoons ginger, 1 teaspoon cardamom, 1/2 teaspoon allspice, 1/2 teaspoon cloves, and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg.
