Ingredients

  • 1 French Baguette white or whole wheat
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic
  • 5.2 oz container of boursin garlic and herb cream cheese spread
  • 1 cup fig jam I use Divina, but any good quality jam will work
  • 1/4 cup green onions
  • 1 pound thinly sliced roast beef good quality

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400.

  2. Meanwhile, cut the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices. One whole baguette should yield about 20 pieces. Add olive oil and a little garlic to each slice of bread.

  3. Toast the bread slices for 5 minutes in the oven, or until crispy and slightly golden brown. Let cool slightly.

  4. Take a crostini, spread about a teaspoon of garlic spread, a teaspoon of fig jam, and a half slice of roasted beef (more or less of spread and jam depending on your own personal preference. Top with green onions. Repeat until all the rotini's are assembled.

  5. Serve and Enjoy.
