Fall Spiced Golden Milk

Ingredients

  • 2 cups coconut almond milk or almond milk not from the can*
  • 1 teaspoons ground turmeric more if you want a more intense turmeric flavor
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon more for topping
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom
  • Pinch nutmeg
  • Pinch salt
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • Dash honey optional

Instructions

  1. In a sauce pan, combine spices, sweeteners, and milk and whisk to full combined.

  2. Over medium heat, bring to a low boil to help bring out the spice flavors and heat up the mixture.
  3. Divide mixture between glass. Use a frother to froth the milk.** Top with ground cinnamon.
  4. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

*I used Califia farms coconut almond milk (you can find it in a jug in the refrigerator section or get it here). You can use any milk of choice. **If you do not have a frother, you can also add the mixture to a blender and blender briefly to add froth.
