The Nutty St. Nick

A boozy bourbon eggnog holiday drink with hints of spice and nuts.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounce bourbon
  • 1 ounce hazelnut liqour I use Frangelica
  • 6 ounces eggnog I used a light version
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 4-5 dashes walnut bitters optional
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 dash nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients plus ice to a shaker and shake vigorously.

  2. Pour into glass of choice. 

  3. Garnish with straw and star anise pod. 

  4. Serve and enjoy!
